Stratasys F170
The Stratasys F170 is the most used printer at the IDC, located in the Semi-Clean Room. It is part of the F123 series printers created by Stratasys for rapid prototyping.
Using the F170
Safety
No PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is required to handling the F170 in normal operation. Gloves are recommended during maintenance since the apparatus of the printer may be 70°C or hotter during ABS/ASA mode.
Preparing Print Files
In order to print on the F170, tray files must be generated using GrabCAD Print.
